A presidential decree was issued in 2026 aimed at easing the situation of university students affected by the 2025-2026 academic year conditions. The decree stipulates promoting students to the next academic year if they have completed 8 or fewer courses, including final-year students and preparatory students, allowing them to take a supplementary exam to fulfill graduation requirements without delay. These measures are a response to students' demands and a confirmation of support for education and the continuation of their academic journey in a flexible manner, with the goal of minimizing their chances of delay and facilitating their graduation under exceptional circumstances.
