A German court sentenced a mother and her daughter to four and a half years in prison for their involvement in a conspiracy to murder a man on the Spanish island of Mallorca, by hiring a third party to carry out the crime. Although the murder was not actually carried out, the two women were convicted of participating in the preparation for the crime, which was linked to a family dispute and associated with an organized criminal plot that took place outside Germany. It is worth noting that the case attracted widespread attention due to its family-like nature and the connection to a planned murder that was ultimately not executed.
