On Thursday evening, Israeli forces carried out a widespread explosion targeting an underground tunnel system and infrastructure on Ali Al-Taher Hill in southern Lebanon. The blast caused an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1, recorded by seismic monitoring stations. The Israeli army confirmed that they destroyed a tunnel network extending over more than two kilometers, which contained command centers, arms depots, fighters' rooms, as well as missiles, drones, anti-tank weapons, and land mines. The hill is located at an elevation of approximately 600 meters and 15 kilometers from the Israeli border, giving it strategic importance. The Israelis announced that they have completed their control over the area following the destruction of the tunnels, and so far, no response has been issued from Hezbollah.
