Seizure of 395,000 Captagon pills at Jdaid Yabous
The Drug Enforcement Administration, in coordination with the Border Crossings Authority and Customs, managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle 395,000 captagon pills coming from Lebanon through the Jdaidet Yabous border crossing, before they reached Rif Damascus. Those involved in the smuggling were also apprehended. This operation follows the seizure of 225,000 captagon pills on September 30th and 210,000 pills along with 62 kilograms of hashish on October 6th, highlighting ongoing efforts to combat smuggling operations aimed at trafficking large quantities of drugs into Syria.
