Syria’s Ministry of Energy announced that water releases from the Euphrates dams would continue at a rate of 900 cubic metres per second until 10 November, with no change to the amounts set since mid-October. It said around two billion cubic metres of storage capacity remained available and that it would reassess the situation later based on inflows from Turkey, after reducing the flow from 1,200 to 900 cubic metres per second because of declining water inflows.
