Search teams from the Syrian Ministry of Defense’s naval forces found the body of the second person who went missing after being swept away by floodwaters west of Tabqa, in the Raqqa countryside, following eight days of searching. The Raqqa Media Directorate said the body belonged to a member of the ministry’s personnel. It was found near the village of Saryan, north of the international Raqqa–Aleppo highway, after rescue teams recovered the first missing person’s body on Monday following the collapse of the al-Salmani Bridge.
