Severe rains lead to deadly Germany crash

Two people were killed and a third seriously injured in a horrific traffic accident north of the city of Karlsruhe, Germany. The crash resulted from losing control of the vehicle during a thunderstorm and heavy rain, which caused the car to skid and enter the opposite lane, leading to a collision with another vehicle. The incident claimed the lives of the 55-year-old driver of the second car and a woman who was with him (54 years old). The driver responsible for the crash was hospitalized with serious injuries. Traffic on the federal highway B35 in the affected area has been halted, and it was determined that water skidding was the main cause of the accident.
