Homs receives 620 tons of wheat in two days
The Syrian Grain Corporation in Homs has begun receiving the 2026 wheat season through the Homs and Talkalak centers and silos, utilizing a modern electronic platform to organize marketing and reduce crowding. In the first two days, 620 tons of wheat were received, with a daily distribution of 304 tons. The operations focused on quality inspection and laboratory analysis to ensure the stock's quality. Additionally, the disbursement of farmers’ financial dues has been facilitated directly through agricultural banks, aiming to speed up payment processes and support local production.
