Energy Ministry partially closes Euphrates Dam spillway
The Syrian Ministry of Energy announced a partial closure of Spillway Gate 3 at Tabqa Dam, resulting in a reduction of water releases by 100 cubic meters per second, decreasing to around 1100 cubic meters per second. This measure comes amidst ongoing declines in water inflows from the Turkish side, with technical teams continuously monitoring the water situation to ensure the safety of the facilities and the stability of the river.
