Syria urges release of missing persons documents
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on countries and international organizations to hand over documents related to the missing persons case, in order to support transitional justice efforts, help the victims' families uncover the truth, and strengthen trust in national institutions. This comes after the National Committee for the Missing in Syria announced, in May, credible results indicating the death of the six children of Dr. Rania Al-Abbas, who were detained with her in 2013.
