Guterres: Syria collaborates to resolve nuclear issues
The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, confirmed that Syria is cooperating fully and transparently to close the files related to its previous nuclear activities, as the agency has obtained Damascus's approval to clarify and resolve these issues. It is noted that the agency intends to resume activities at the Deir ez-Zor site when conditions permit, in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the nature of past activities and achieve technical verification. These developments come as part of Syria's commitment to the peaceful use of nuclear energy and to strengthening cooperation with the agency for effective management.
