Al-Mas'oudiya faces service shortages
Al-Mas'oudiya village in the countryside of Homs suffers from a lack of basic services. The population is approximately 150 people, and the village faces challenges with the electricity grid, sewage system, and transportation. Despite its proximity to the city center, the village lacks a proper sewage network and relies on septic pits, which cause environmental pollution. Residents complain about weak electricity infrastructure and a shortage of poles and wires. Local authorities are working to improve the infrastructure; a master plan is currently being prepared, and maintenance of the water lines is underway. Public transportation services are limited, and the quality of roads remains incomplete.
