Volunteer lawyers' group formed to assist Harasta victims
The Vice President of the Syrian Lawyers Syndicate, Mohammed Salama, announced the formation of a voluntary lawyers' committee to defend the victims of the Tadamon neighborhood in Damascus. The aim is to pursue the main suspect involved in the neighborhood massacre and to prepare legal files for prosecution before national and international courts. The committee will work on gathering evidence and providing free legal support to the affected individuals, as part of efforts to achieve justice and hold those responsible accountable. The committee includes a chairperson and several lawyer members, and Salama called on all Syrian lawyers to join and contribute to this national mission.
