Analysis of engineering efforts in the region
The governor of Homs discussed with the Engineers Syndicate Council the challenges facing engineering work in the province, including delays in licensing procedures in the industrial city and ways to develop the plan study process to ensure transparency and fairness. The two parties also reviewed a memorandum of understanding with Homs University aimed at training engineers and developing their skills. Additionally, they discussed a project to rehabilitate the syndicate center into a training hub and the establishment of a modern concrete batching plant to support construction projects. It is worth noting that the number of registered engineers in Syria is approximately 30,000, with 30 consulting offices and 1,500 individual engineering offices.
