Al-Hamadaniyah Stadium in Aleppo restarts night lighting
The lighting system at the Al-Hamdaniya Stadium in Aleppo has been renovated at a cost of approximately 3 billion Syrian pounds (about $214,000 USD), funded by the Ministry of Sport and Youth. The work took four months to complete and will allow clubs and fans to host matches in the evening hours. The first under-the-floodlights match will be between Aleppo's Al-Ahli and Al-Hurriya teams. This step will help improve the sports conditions in the city and create opportunities to organize sporting events after years of absence.
