Homs pursues non-reusable bank cover reduction
The Homs City Council is working to provide non-recyclable drain covers to reduce their loss, especially those made of fonte material, which are frequently stolen. This not only results in additional costs for the equipment but also poses a risk of dirt entering the sewage networks. The council conducts field inspections and collaborates with security forces to curb this phenomenon, while also working on replacing the covers with more durable ones and raising community awareness to preserve infrastructure and public cleanliness.
