Mask clarifies SpaceX AI phone claims
Elon Musk vehemently denied reports that SpaceX is developing an AI-powered smartphone, clarifying that this is not true. The Wall Street Journal had mentioned that the company had showcased a device resembling a phone prior to its initial public offering, aiming to change the way users interact with AI technologies. However, Musk confirmed that the company is not working on developing a smartphone and that the idea is not under consideration for them. This comes amid widespread speculation about SpaceX's expansion into communication services, including the potential launch of mobile services based on the Starlink network and possibly acquiring other telecom companies in the future.
