Chinese brain-like chip surpasses Nvidia A100
A team of Chinese scientists developed an integrated computing chip capable of simulating the complex structures of the human brain in real time, leading to improved speed and accuracy in diagnosing Alzheimer's disease. This chip, manufactured with a precision of 40 nanometers, outperforms Nvidia A100 graphics processing units by approximately 50 to 478 times. It can reconstruct the intricate surfaces of the brain in less than half a second, opening new horizons for applications in neurological diagnosis and treatment, as well as brain-computer interfaces.
