Xiaomi 18 Ultra May Not Be Released Due to Manufacturing Challenges
Leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 18 Ultra, which was expected to be the company's most powerful camera phone, may face cancellation or suspension in development due to rising costs of advanced imaging components and chip shortages. Instead, Xiaomi may focus on releasing the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, which is anticipated to feature high-end specifications such as a large display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, a 200-megapixel main camera, and advanced imaging technologies. This would serve as a more balanced option in terms of price and performance. Xiaomi has not officially confirmed any of these leaks yet.
