Google Chrome adds key Android feature
Google is Planning to Improve User Browsing Experience on Chrome for Android by Changing How Notification Permissions Are Requested Starting from Chrome 155, the current permission request window that suddenly appears over content will be replaced with a small, temporary notification at the top of the screen. This new approach aims to reduce interruptions and make browsing easier by not disrupting the user’s flow. Ignoring the notification will not be considered a permanent denial; users can later enable notifications through site controls. Website developers are advised to update their code accordingly to ensure proper functionality after these changes. Google recommends not requesting permissions automatically upon page load, but rather after the user interacts with specific content. This change will be gradually rolled out alongside Chrome versions 150 and 151, making internet browsing smoother and helping users make more informed decisions about subscribing to notifications.
