Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Redmi K100 series in China, which includes two phones: the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max. Both models are scheduled for official release in the Chinese market on August 11, 2026. A new design has been revealed featuring a dark red (Cabernet Red) color with a metallic frame, a flat 6.9-inch display with thin bezels, and it is expected to have an OLED screen with a high refresh rate of up to 185Hz. The phones focus on performance and photography; the Redmi K100 Pro Max, in particular, offers a triple rear camera system with a periscope zoom lens and retains a speaker supported by Bose to enhance audio quality. It is anticipated that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with an estimated price of around $590. Pre-orders will begin before the launch, and Xiaomi is expected to reveal more specifications and details during the event on August 11.
