Android now copies files to Google Drive
Google has launched a new feature for Android phones that allows automatic backups of documents and files stored on the device to Google Drive. This feature helps protect files and makes them easily accessible in case the phone is lost. It is usually activated manually through the device settings. The feature supports a wide range of files such as PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and APK files. Backup files are stored in a dedicated folder called "Android backups" within Google Drive. It is important to monitor storage space, as modifications are not automatically synchronized between the phone and the cloud. The feature provides quick access to important files, and files uploaded remain stored even if the backup is disabled.
