The iPhone 17 Pro, made from titanium, successfully survived a fall from a high-altitude airplane exceeding 1,000 meters, according to two previous experiments. The phones' ability to remain intact during such drops is attributed to its flat design, which enhances its optimal falling position from great heights. Damage appears to halt after falling approximately 102 meters. It seems that the airplane's altitude and air currents caused the phone to come out of its case, but it continued to function normally after being recovered using Find My features. It is worth noting that the type of casing and design play a major role in shock resistance, although using protective cases can further improve the phone's resilience.
