Apple is working on developing smart glasses dedicated to health and fitness, aiming to transform them into comprehensive tools for monitoring health data and body movements. The company's plans align with its expansion into wearable devices, where it expects to include sensors for measuring and tracking physical movements, as well as developing advanced sports and health features. The company does not anticipate these capabilities in the first-generation glasses but considers them part of a long-term strategy to improve device design and reduce weight, with a focus on integrating health and fitness features into its technological ecosystem. Additionally, the company is working on transforming the functions of its other products, such as AirPods and the Apple Watch, to support health and fitness. It is targeting the development of innovative prototypes based on sensors and digital technologies to enhance its competitive capabilities in the advanced smart glasses market.
