Samsung plans custom icons for One UI 9.5 dark mode
Samsung is developing a new feature within the One UI 9.5 interface that allows users to customize app icons to better match the dark mode on Galaxy phones. The feature, which appeared in the code of a beta release, will enable icons to display in darker colors that complement dark backgrounds, enhancing visual consistency and providing a smoother user experience. The release of this feature is expected to coincide with the launch of One UI 9.5 alongside the Galaxy S27 series. The company continues to improve customization options and support future designs, including artificial intelligence technologies.
