Xiaomi 18 could alter camera design
Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Xiaomi 18 series of phones, with expectations of a design change for the camera module in the standard version. It is likely to feature a square-shaped module in the top left corner with an asymmetrical arrangement of sensors, marking a departure from the design of the Xiaomi 17 series. The leaked specifications include a 6.4-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, and high-resolution cameras up to 200 MP in collaboration with Leica. The device is expected to have a 7,000 mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging. It is anticipated to be announced next month, emphasizing strong performance, a modern design, and IP69 protection. The phone will offer multiple RAM and storage options and will run HyperOS 4 based on Android 17.
