Samsung introduces new ringtone for One UI 9
Samsung has unveiled a new ringtone inspired by the piece "Nocturne in E-flat Major, Op. 9, No. 2" by composer Frédéric Chopin, coinciding with the launch of its new foldable phones and the One UI 9 interface. The new tone evokes calm nighttime atmospheres and gentle emotions. It is currently used on Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 phones during the availability of One UI 9, with plans to expand its use to other devices in the series later on. Samsung chose classical music to give its audio identity a distinctive and sophisticated character, aiming to provide users with a natural and exceptional musical experience rather than traditional notifications. The version was recorded at Samsung’s studios in Seoul, with experts overseeing the production process to ensure high quality that matches the tranquil nature of the piece.
