Samsung introduces new feature in One UI 9.5
Samsung is preparing to introduce the "App Lock" feature directly into its new One UI 9.5, aiming to enhance the privacy of Galaxy phone users. The feature will allow users to lock applications using fingerprint or other security methods, as well as hide notification contents and app-related tools to prevent unauthorized access. This feature is considered a simpler alternative to the "Secure Folder" option, as it will enable users to lock apps directly from the app drawer without needing to move them to a separate environment, while still allowing access through biometric authentication or the phone's lock screen method. It is worth noting that this feature is part of broader steps to strengthen privacy on Samsung devices, and it is expected to significantly improve the protection of sensitive data such as WhatsApp, banking apps, and other applications.
