Google Gboard to add essential feature
Google is testing a new feature within the Gboard keyboard for Android called "Quick Insert," aimed at making it easier to access and insert multiple types of content directly from the top toolbar. The feature appears as a "+" icon inside a diamond shape; when tapped, it reveals a unified menu that includes tools such as voice input, emojis, stickers, images, and contact information. The goal is to reduce the need to switch between shortcuts by providing quick access to recently used or stored items, like images or contact details, with an option to insert all data at once via "Insert all." Currently, the feature is still in testing and is expected to undergo adjustments before its official release. No announcement has been made regarding when it will be rolled out to all users.
