US elections Tuesday results

The primary race in the United States is witnessing a wave of intense competition, with fierce contests for seats in the Senate and House of Representatives in three key states: Alaska, Florida, and Wyoming. Republican Senator Dan Sullivan and former Congresswoman Mary Peltola qualified for the general election in Alaska, while socialist Democrat Angie Nixon achieved a surprising victory in Florida over a well-funded rival, reflecting a rise of the left within the Democratic Party. Despite Trump's endorsement, many of his candidates lost in Florida and Wyoming, as Republican support for some of his nominees waned, especially as the midterm elections approached. These results indicate significant shifts in the American political landscape, with the potential for Democratic candidates—including Angie Nixon—to become the first senator and first Black person to represent their respective states.
