Microsoft integrates Alam into AI system

Saudi Arabia's "Hiyumain" Company, owned by the Public Investment Fund, announced a long-term strategic collaboration with Microsoft. This partnership includes making Arabic AI models ("Alem") available within the Microsoft Foundry platform. The goal is to empower developers and businesses to build and customize AI applications in Arabic, integrating "Alem's" capabilities with tools like "Microsoft 365 Copilot" to create specialized agents and enhance workflows. This marks an initial step, with plans to expand the collaboration to include productivity tools and infrastructure, aiming to support organizations in developing AI solutions better suited to the Arab environment and to promote the adoption of technology across the Saudi market and the region as a whole.
