Cisco faces prejudice charges amid Palestinian issues
A report reveals that the American company Cisco violated the civil rights of its Middle Eastern and Muslim employees due to their support for the Palestinian cause. The company refused to engage in negotiations with employees who expressed their support for Palestinians following the October 7, 2023 attacks. Additionally, internal forum posts contained racist content against Arabs and Muslims, which escalated into celebratory messages praising the killing of Palestinian civilians. This led to the dismissal of a large number of employees who defended Palestinian rights or opposed the company's connection to Israel. Investigations also showed that the company supplied the Israeli military with devices and technical services used in espionage and data analysis operations. Meanwhile, employees continue to attempt negotiations or pursue legal actions against the company.
