Apple Offers 10 Compromises for iPhone Duo
Apple has launched the iPhone Duo, the first foldable iPhone, featuring an internal 7.6-inch display and an external 5.4-inch screen. It sports a design different from traditional iPhones. Despite utilizing a dual 48-megapixel camera system and the A20 Pro chip, the Duo lacks many professional photography features found in the iPhone 18 Pro, such as greater optical zoom, a variable aperture, professional mode controls, advanced video recording formats, spatial photos, reference photos, and advanced biometric authentication resources. It also does not include a LiDAR scanner or a dedicated action button, relying instead on a Touch ID fingerprint sensor rather than Face ID. The Duo is priced higher at $1,999, while the iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199. The Duo emphasizes a large screen and multitasking capabilities, whereas the iPhone 18 Pro remains targeted at professional photography and advanced technical features.
