Samsung Galaxy S27 prices rumored to rise
Leaks from South Korea suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S27 series will see price increases compared to the previous generation, starting from about $95 for the base model, with larger increases for higher-capacity versions such as the Galaxy S27 Ultra, which could reach around $2,000 for the 1TB variant, compared to $1,799 for the S26 Ultra. The report links this to rising electronic component costs due to the global chip shortage and increased demand for AI technologies, as Samsung relies on the latest LPDDR6 memory. It is worth noting that these figures are not officially confirmed, and prices may vary depending on the market and taxes at launch.
