Google Photos to Enhance GIF Control
Google is developing new tools within the Google Photos app that allow users to have greater control over creating GIF animated images. The updates include the ability to choose the playback speed from several options (0.25x, 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x) and preview the file before saving, giving users the ability to adjust the transition speed and the final appearance. Additionally, GIF files will be automatically saved in the camera folder with cloud backup, and the new interface will offer advanced editing tools including speed options, previews, and sharing. This feature is currently being tested in Google Photos version 7.96.0.99 and is expected to be officially released to users soon, making it easier to create and customize animated images with more flexibility and precision.
