Samsung A series gets stable One UI 9
Samsung has begun rolling out the stable update of One UI 9, based on Android 17, for the Galaxy A55 5G in South Korea, as part of its plan to develop mid-range devices. The update includes improvements such as customization of the quick settings panel, displaying internet speed in the status bar, adding a new phone care section, enhancing Samsung applications like Samsung Notes, and strengthening privacy protection with an indicator that shows when apps access location data in the background. The update is expected to expand to other markets in the coming weeks, with no specific date announced yet for deployment in Arab countries.
