A tragic incident occurred in the Boughjla area of Kairouan Province, resulting in the death of a girl named Mroua. A man named Makarem forced her to stop her car, poured a flammable substance on her, and set her on fire. He also set himself on fire, leading to serious burns for both of them. They both later died in the hospital. Authorities are investigating the circumstances and motives behind the incident, with indications of previous conflicts and the possibility that a rejected marriage proposal may have been a catalyst for the escalation.
