Tunisia, within the framework of the 2026-2030 development plan, aims to make a qualitative leap in its educational system through comprehensive reforms to improve the quality of education, promote equality, and accelerate digital transformation. It is expected that the number of students in the preparatory and secondary levels will rise to approximately 1.2 million by 2030, with a focus on achieving universal pre-school education at 100% and integrating life skills and citizenship education into the curricula. The plan also includes strengthening digital transformation, integrating students with disabilities into schools, and enhancing the school environment by developing infrastructure and providing comfort and safety.
