Sixteen children living in tragic conditions were found inside a dilapidated house in a village in southern Ohio, USA, where they had been confined to a small room for nearly four years. The parents and four grandparents accused of endangering the children were arrested. The home was described as "disgusting" and covered in filth, with a persistent bad odor that could not be eliminated. According to officials, the children were taken to the hospital; they ranged in age from 18 months to 18 years, and were suffering from severe injuries and developmental disabilities.
