Kairouan Maghreb Square opens anew

The Al-Maghreb Arab Square in Kairouan has been inaugurated after the completion of its redevelopment works as part of the "Femmedina – Women of the City" project, aimed at promoting social inclusion and local development. The project was committed to meeting the needs of all community groups, with a focus on women, children, and people with disabilities, by improving access, increasing lighting, and providing seating and interaction spaces. The initiative links economic development with tourism and aims to support the social and economic inclusion of women, as well as to enhance the cultural heritage of Kairouan.
