Defense Ministry oversees Air Transport training

The Ministry of National Defense is responsible for training air traffic specialists for the second consecutive year through an examination aimed at obtaining the national diploma in this field. The goal is to directly integrate successful candidates into civil aviation and airports. The program includes a three-year training period at the Aviation School in Borg el-Arma, along with benefits such as a scholarship and free accommodation. Graduates receive a military rank along with a national diploma. Applications are accepted based on conditions related to the annual certificate and grades. This initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between the Ministries of Defense and Transport in developing qualified personnel for air traffic management.
