Iran responds to mission expulsion reports
Iran announced that its diplomatic delegation left New York on Monday evening, in accordance with a pre-scheduled plan communicated to the U.S. State Department on September 17. The Iranian mission rejected claims by some media outlets suggesting that its delegation was expelled from the city. They denied any escalation or unlawful measures, affirming that the delegation departed normally and without any attempt to force their exit.
