Toha Al-Samawi Leaves Club Africain
Oueded right-back Taha Al-Smaoui's adventure with Club Africain has come to an end following an agreement to terminate his contract. This comes after he suffered a torn ligament injury in October 2025 and underwent a second surgical procedure last June. Despite the club's desire to renew his contract, the team offered him a less-than-before proposal as part of a cost-cutting policy and salary reduction. Al-Smaoui relinquished all his previous dues in exchange for the contract termination. It is also worth mentioning that a Qatari club has offered to rehabilitate him at the "Aspetar" center and include him in their squad, and the offer appears to be very tempting.
