Handball: Taha Al-Samawi departs Club Africain
Taha Al-Samawi left his contract with Club Africain after suffering a torn ligament injury in October 2025, which required him to undergo two surgeries. This occurred amidst a policy of austerity and salary cuts imposed by the club's management, leading to the departure of several players. A Qatari organization offered him treatment at the "Aspetar" center, along with an opportunity to transfer to their team, which he might accept given the attractive offers he has received.
