Mohamed V Stadium project under review
The bidding and legal review phase has now begun for the reconstruction and modernization project of the Olympic Stadium in Manouba, following the closure of tender submissions on September 25, 2026. It is expected that the winning company will be officially announced within the upcoming weeks, after the evaluation of bids by the specialized committees, with a focus on technical and financial criteria to ensure quality execution. The comprehensive project plan includes rebuilding the stands, upgrading the athletics track, installing the latest digital equipment and lighting, while being careful to preserve the stadium’s heritage character. Estimated costs for the project amount to approximately 600 million Tunisian dinars, with work potentially beginning at the end of 2026, and lasting between 30 and 36 months. After announcing the winner, the legal stages will involve contract review and organizing procedures for appeals, to ensure the implementation process proceeds transparently according to the scheduled timeline.
