Tunisia Prepared to Host Libya Settlement Talks
The Tunisian Foreign Minister affirmed that Tunisia is ready to host initiatives aimed at reaching a comprehensive settlement that preserves Libya's sovereignty and unity, while supporting UN efforts to advance the political process there. He emphasized Tunisia's commitment to neutrality and its hosting of consultations among neighboring countries (Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt) to strengthen Libyan-Libyan dialogue and understanding, with the goal of establishing a sustainable solution that ensures security and stability in Libya and the region. These statements come amidst progress in the UN roadmap and the UN mission's reaffirmation of ongoing coordination with Tunisia and regional countries to support a political solution in Libya.
