Ahmad Najeeb Al-Shabi ends his strike
Ahmed Nabil Chebbi decided, as a temporary measure, to suspend his hunger strike after being transferred multiple times to the hospital due to a severe drop in blood sugar levels and blood pressure. He refused to continue treatment until he is allowed to meet with his family. This came after receiving messages of solidarity and after the prison administration reaffirmed the seriousness of the prisoners' demands. His decision to suspend the strike was an expression of good faith, awaiting the fulfillment of the administration's commitments.
