Today: International Drug Awareness Day
Under the slogan "Your Life Is More Valuable Than a Risk," the Ministry of Education organized a joint awareness day on prevention of drug dangers in the school environment. The aim was to enhance students' awareness of the harms of drugs and their impact on mental and physical health, as well as on their academic path and family and social relationships. The program included diverse interventions such as health education, legal information, psychological support, and educational guidance. It also featured interactive activities and workshops on digital safety and early prevention. The goal is to foster a preventive culture based on awareness, active listening, early intervention, and offering safe alternatives to prevent addiction before it occurs. Emphasis was placed on the fact that protecting lives requires a conscious decision and seeking help when needed.
