Tunisia and Senegal seek to boost olive oil ties
The meetings between Tunisia and Senegal focused on strengthening economic cooperation, particularly in the olive oil sector. An agreement was reached to organize an executive work program spanning three years, which will include mutual delegations and market information exchanges. The two sides also discussed sharing expertise in quality control and marketing, with an emphasis on developing product processing such as peanuts and enhancing the capacities of small and medium-sized enterprises. Additionally, the discussions addressed the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement, aimed at easing product entry into African markets and diversifying trade exchanges between the two countries.
