In a serious incident at Joseph Lacanale School near Marseille, a 14-year-old student opened fire inside the school using a hunting rifle hidden in a guitar case, injuring the principal and a teacher in the lower limbs, though their lives are not in danger. One staff member was able to disarm him before he was detained, while prosecutors have launched an investigation into attempted murder, with doubts remaining about the motives behind the incident, which are still unclear.
